The Cole French Educational Support Fund was created by Partnership 4 Hope to honor the life and legacy of Cole French, a compassionate case manager who dedicated his career to helping young adults transition from foster care. After Cole’s passing from brain cancer, this fund continues his mission by supporting young adults enrolled in our mentoring program who are pursuing education, working hard, and striving for stability.
What the Fund Does
The fund provides flexible financial support to help young adults stay in school and maintain independence. Assistance may cover rent, utilities, food, transportation, textbooks, or other urgent needs that could impact school success.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants are:
Ages 18–25
Former foster or system-impacted youth enrolled in our Mentoring Program
Enrolled in a college, trade, or certification program
Currently employed (part-time or full-time) or have some form of income.
Facing a short-term financial hardship
